It doesn't matter where, when, how or why - I love doing it, reading it, and writing it. There's something incredible about those moments when two people come together and connect in such a way it leaves them breathless. I'm not even picky about how it happens either! I love the anticipation of waiting for him to lean in, the way he looks at you, and YOU KNOW it's going to be amazing. The way your body reacts and begins to dip and tingle. Once the kiss has started, and his hands are cupping your face, or his hands are tangled in your hair ... when he deepens it ... it's magical. Those "just because" kisses - because I love you, I missed you, you make me happy and the list is endless. Whether it is a quick brush of lips, a peck on the cheek, or a ravishing ... KISSING IS FUN!!
To celebrate today, I've planned some fun! It starts here with a few fun facts and GIVEAWAY! Then continue on to my Facebook Author Page where I'll be sharing some kisses from The Mystic Wolves, Forget Me Not and Broken Promises.
FUN KISSING FACTS

The science of kissing is called philematology.

The term “French kiss” came into the English language around 1923 as a slur on the French culture which was thought to be overly concerned with sex. In France, it’s called a tongue kiss or soul kiss because if done right, it feels as if two souls are merging. In fact, several ancient cultures thought that mouth-to-mouth kissing mingled two lovers’ souls.
Passionate kissing burns 6.4 calories a minute. A Hershey’s kiss contains 26 calories, which takes five minutes of walking–or about four minutes of kissing–to burn off.
The average person spends about 15 days kissing throughout the course of a lifetime. That’s like a full vacation.
The French translation for the tongue kiss is called “roulant une pelle,” which translates to “rolling a shovel.”
