Happy New Year Everyone!!

Can you believe how fast 2011 went by? So many thing happened, and I'm excited to see what this new year has in store for us. I've been giving my resolutions a lot of thought. I want them to be meaningful - not just something to wish for. There's definitely things I want to accomplish in the next 12 months so here's what I'll be working on ....

1. I want better health

2011 was hellacious and I definitely got off track. Now that my foot is no longer hurting, I'm back to working out again and eating sensibly. I want to continue to lose wait and be the best me possible. I have a a UBER special goal in mind ... I want to have a baby *grins* I want to be Momma Snob so wish me luck!

2. I want to refocus on blogging

I've gotten off track with blogging the last few months. It happens - I started writing and promoting. I've missed blogging about my love of reading, writing reviews and generally swooning all over the place. I've missed participating in memes and meeting fellow readers. I may not be posting 2-3 time a day, but I'd like to be more frequent. I'll be combining my love for reading and writing so I'll definitely have stuff to talk about!

3. I want to read 100 books

This was the whole reason I started everything - my love for reading romance. I've been stockpiling books all last year, waiting for some time to read. I've been filling my Kindle with free ebooks so I can't wait to dive in. I'll be honest, my reviews may not be paragraphs but they will be gushy when I love the book! There's quite a few new releases coming so when bring it on!

4. I want to release at least 4 books

2011 was exciting for me because I finally became a published author. It still seems strange to say that aloud, but I'm following my passion and writing is one of them. I've been so grateful for everyones support and feedback for the Mystic Wolves and I know there will be at least two new novels for the series. Broken Promises will also be released (FINALLY lol) and I have a few other ideas. I've had people whispering in my ear for Devlin to get his own book, so we'll see.

5. I want to keep a blessings journal

I've really seen the power that comes from looking and thinking on the positive. Circumstances may not change, it still may feel like you're living in hell, but having the right attitude does wonders. I've already got the journal and each day, I'm going to write one thing that stood out - one thing that was positive, that made me smile, that reminded me of how good life is. It doesn't have to be something big and extravagant ... most times it's the simple things. I'm hoping this will help keep me focused on the good and grateful for everything I have.

6. Spend more time with my family

After looking at the  above, you're probably wondering how I could possibly do that if I'm busy. Easy? Take any chance to spend time - to talk, laugh, and play. Spend time going to community events, sharing what's happening in our lives, exploring and encouraging our talents. I am so lucky to be surrounded by people who love me!

There's a few more, but those are the important ones.

What are your goals for 2012?
