It's HERE!! Book Excerpt & Giveaway!

There was something erotic about the way he moved over me, his heated build pressed hard against mine. I couldn’t help the way my body reacted as I arched into his touch and sighed with deep contentment. When Mason found a certain sensitive spot, one he loved to tease me with, I decided I’d had enough and reached for him.
One moment my hands were touching him and the next they were pinned to the bed while he looked down at me wickedly. “Patience, Darcy. I’m not finished. There’s one more place I haven’t savored.”
I held my breath, desire coursing through me and almost lost my mind as he nestled into my neck, nipping and sucking at the tender flesh. It was definitely a weakness of mine, the feel of his teeth and lips, the brushing of heated breath. I squirmed against him, trying to break from his restraining grip. All it did was add fuel to the fire already building between us.
“Mason, you’re killing me here. Please.” I wasn’t beneath begging for him to kiss me.

So Sorry + Hint At Surprise

Hi everyone. Wow. I seriously feel as if someone stole days from me. I'm one of those bloggers who LOVE posting every day! It doesn't matter what I share, it's all about the passion we have for reading and the addiction I have for romance. I just realized - I haven't posted in THREE days! So let me just remedy that right now. Nothing big "TODAY" but I do have a surprise for tomorrow! Yep, something people have been waiting for and I'm excited! Here's a hint - it's something you'll swoon to and leave you feeling cherished. LOL Guessed it yet?

Anyway, just because.... here's a photo to tide us over. Sometimes it nice to just "look" and not read *winks*

Reminds me of a bronzed god!

Which begs the question ...

What's a great romance read where the hero is either a god or is surrounded by mythology? Share your recommendations :)

He plays a large role in this next installment and who better to use than cover model Jimmy Thomas!

So want to see the cover?

Review: the Taming of the Rake, by Kasey Michaels

The Taming of a Rake
Author: Kasey Michaels
Historical Romance
Published: HQN Books

Official Blurb:
MEET THE BLACKTHORN BROTHERS—
THREE UNREPENTANT SCOUNDRELS INFAMOUS FOR BEING MAD, BAD AND PERILOUS TO LOVE

Charming, wealthy and wickedly handsome, Oliver “Beau” Blackthorn has it all…except revenge on the enemy he can’t forget. Now the opportunity for retribution has fallen into his hands. But his success hinges on Lady Chelsea Mills-Beckman—the one woman with the power to distract him from his quest.

Desperate to escape her family’s control, Lady Chelsea seizes the chance to run off with the notorious eldest Blackthorn brother, knowing she’s only a pawn in his game. But as Beau draws her deep into a world of intrigue, danger and explosive passion, does she dare hope he’ll choose love over vengeance?

What I thought:
Okay...I don’t like to dwell on the negative so I will get this out of the way first.  I don’t like this book cover.  It does nothing to represent the wonderful characters in the story.  Being a reader who is very cover oriented I just had to put that out there.  However, I’m also very title oriented too and I happen to love The Taming of the Shrew, so this title definitely caught my eye.  (I do like the title font on the cover though! Very pretty!)

Burden Of Blood Blog Tour with Wenona Hulsey

You might have seen me share a little something about a month ago about Blood Awakening, the short story prequel to Burden of Blood and if you did, you'll be excited to know that the full length novel has been released! As part of the tour to celebrate it, author Wenona Hulsey is sharing a book excerpt...

** Book Blurb **

No one wants to know everyone's darkest secrets, especially not police officer, Nicole Keenan. All she wants is a blissfully normal life in the small, Alabama town where she was born. But as generations of power running through her veins start to wake up, an ancient grudge is ignited that threatens to push her over the edge. She can hardly believe in what she is, let alone that a dark force will not stop until she's joins them. Or is dead.
Nicole Keenan's life enters into a dangerous dance with warriors and gothic fairies. Southern tradition collides with Irish folklore as she learns about love, heartbreak, and The Burden of Blood.

** Book Excerpt **

Kat grabbed Nicole and Luke by the hand pulling them toward the dance floor. She gave an alluring smile to Luke as they made their way through the sea of bodies. Nicole could see the third wheel theory rearing its ugly head much earlier than she expected. A pang of jealousy stung her but she hid it as fast as it appeared. She had no right to be acting this way, she had turned Luke down time and time again. So build a bridge and get over it Nicole. This is your fault, you shot him down.
With that thought, she started dancing with the mass of bodies swaying all around her. She tried to keep her eyes away from Luke and Kat as they danced, but it was impossible. She cringed as Kat ran her fingers into Luke’s hair, then dropped a hand down to rest on his chest. Kat leaned up, whispering into Luke’s ear as she slid one red fingernail along his jaw line. Nicole pried her eyes away, trying to focus on the music and rhythm of her body, but when she glanced their way again, she locked eyes with Luke.
His deep hazel pools were ablaze with passion. He watched every move of her body as she swayed to the beat. His gaze burned her skin with a heat she had never experienced before. Nicole continued to dance with her eyes locked on Luke’s. Everyone else disappeared from her vision, there was only him watching her at that moment. Desire started to build deep inside her belly as she moved, picking up intensity as the music coursed through her, each movement stoking the fire and making it hotter. She teasingly ran one finger between her breasts, down her sweat-beaded stomach, seductively spreading her hand wide as she slid it along the inside of her thigh. His eyes never left hers as he danced slowly, resolutely moving closer to her with every movement of his body.
“That’s right honey, keep drinking. You’re mine tonight you little whore.”
With a jolt, Nicole stopped moving, reality crashing into her mind as if someone had hit the fast forward button. She began scanning the room, trying to figure out who the voice in her head belonged to. At a table near the bar, she spotted a tall man with a neatly groomed beard and black hair. Nicole guessed his age to be around thirty-five and she could tell he had money. He wore a black Armani suit with a white, silk shirt neatly tucked in underneath his unbuttoned jacket. His shoes shined with a perfect mirror finish and a diamond glimmered from his earlobe. Nicole was sure a bright red sports car would be waiting outside for him when he left. He sat next to a cute, small-framed blonde wearing a tight red dress. Even the dumbest bouncer should have seen she was not old enough to be in this club, let alone doing shots of vodka. Four empty shot glasses sat in front of her and judging by the glazed-over look in her eyes that was four too many.
“Nicole, are you okay? You’re pale honey.” Kat moved next to her, releasing her hold on Luke to place a hand on her friend’s arm.
“Yep, I’m fine. I just need to sit for a few. You keep dancing, I’ll be back out here in a little bit.” She started off the dance floor only to be grabbed by the hand mid-stride.
“Do you want me to go with you?” Luke asked staring at her intently as if looking for the real reason she was leaving.
Her body tingled with pleasure just from the feel of his fingers laced with her own. “No…um thanks though. I’ll be okay.” She slid her hand out of his as she made her way toward their table.

Review: One Night in London, by Carolyn Linden

One Night in London
Author: Caroline Linden
Historical Romance
Publisher: HarperCollins

Official Blurb:
A bargain that was all business . . . and pure passion.

Neither wealth nor beauty will help Lady Francesca Gordon win custody of her young niece Georgina, saving the girl from a cruel stepmother; she needs London’s top solicitor for that. But when Edward de Lacey, son of the powerful Duke of Durham, hires away the one man who can do the job, Francesca decides Edward himself must champion her case . . . if only she can melt the dashing lord’s stony heart.

Edward has reason to be guarded, though. London’s tabloids have just exposed a secret that could ruin his entire family. When Francesca offers a unique chance to undo the damage, Edward is forced to agree to a partnership . . . and now, each moment together feeds the flames of his scandalous longing for the passionate widow. But when Georgina disappears, fate will test them both . . . and leave their love hanging in the balance.

What I thought:
*I received this book from Netgalley for review.

I love historical romances and I will say this book captured me straight away when a down on her luck Francesca finds her much needed solicitor ripped from her grasp by a wealthy family.  Instead of sulking she finds out who the mystery client is and barges in to demand his help.

Shades Of Gray Blog Tour with L.M. Pruitt

This book and author have LONG been a favorite of mine so it is with GREAT pleasure that I share this amazing book with everyone today. It was about a year ago that I received an email to review Shades of Gray and one look at the blurb told me "Yep, Bels... you want to read this." The rest was history. I was COMPLETELY blown away with the writing ability of this new (then) author and her ability to completely suck me and leave me speechless. I've devoured everything of hers since and SQUEED when she got a brand new cover. Today I interviewed her and did it a little differently - TWITTER style. Yep, I was a complete meanie and asked for all her answers to be 140 characters or less and she MORE than rose to the occasion. So let's welcome L.M Pruitt!!

Share what Shades of Gray is about in 140 charactersThe story of a girl dealing with life, death, love… don’t forget magic and vampires, set in New Orleans and full of snarky humor.

Where did you get the idea behind the storyline?
It’s a basic quest plot, with supernatural elements. The story is about the journey and every stop along the way.

Did you have any special experiences when writing the story you'd like to share?
I spent a lot of time in New Orleans, went on a lot of tours. It’s an amazing city, one of the jewels of our country.

How did you choose the setting of the story?
Vampires, magic and New Orleans are a natural fit. Add to that my own love affair with the city and it was a no brainer.

How did you decide the personalities of Jude, William and Theo?
Jude: the girl you’d hang out in a bar with
Williams: the man you want even though you shouldn’t – and you know it
Theo: the man you don’t know why you want, but you can’t resist

Can you share some secret readers don't know about them? A hidden quirk?
Jude hates elephants. Theo does not wake up from naps full of sunshine. Williams loves jazz.

Did you intend for there to be a love triangle between the three? Any comments?
Yes, always – with Theo always the winner. Hey, the vamp can’t always win. And Williams needs a goal.

If you could pick a theme song for Shades of Gray, what would it be?
When I’m Gone, by 3 Doors Down. I like depressing songs.

What was your favorite moment/s in the book?
The scene in the hidden room between Jude and Theo. Also the scene where Jude gives Elizabeth a pep talk on dealing with boys.

I LOVED the villian - what do you think makes him so "dastardly"?
His civility in un-civil situations. Remembering your manners while you kill someone is creepy.

What can we expect from the rest of the series?
More crazy relatives (on both sides), blossoming relationships, death, murder, and love… always love.

Anything you'd like to share?
Don’t drink in New Orleans mini-bars. Always run into crowds, not away. And never ignore pings, sparks, and tingles.

So there you have it! I absolutely recommend you grab yourself a copy of this book because it was AMAZING!!

Jude Magdalyn Henries lives what many would call an unconventional life.

Orphaned at birth, raised by nuns, a teenage runaway living on the streets… she now earns a living at odd jobs, including one as a fake tarot card reader. Very little about Jude’s life appears normal, by any scale. When she accepts a gig to do a private reading, unconventional takes on an entirely new meaning. Life as she knows it ends when she’s thrust into a world she never knew existed—one filled with magic, vampires, and her beloved New Orleans on the verge of an underground war. To make matters worse, she's got two men in her life vying for attention, Williams and Theo. Both call to a different part of her, but one scares her just a little bit. Can she step up to the challenges set before her and make the right choices for the greater, which may or not be the greater good?

L.M. Pruitt has been reading and writing for as long as she can remember. A native of Florida with a love of New Orleans, she has the uncanny ability to find humor in most things and would probably kill a plastic plant. Titles written include New Moon Rising, Shades of Gray, the first novel in the Jude Magdalyn series, as well as Hole in the Wall, a Jude Magdalyn short. She is currently at work on Taken. She makes her home in Florida with one two cats—one smart, the other an idiot.

Book Review: The Trove Of The Passion Room by Marcia McClure

The Trove Of The Passion Room
Marcia McClure
Contemporary Romance
Rating: Completely Seduced
Award: You Made Me SWOON

“The Trove of the Passion Room is not simply a story. Nor is it only a fable, a legend or mere nonsensical superstition. It exists. There is a trove hidden in The Passion Room…a trove that has never before in its fullness been found—for it is hidden by the spell of passion that lingers within the room itself. The passion inspired of the room cannot be denied. It cannot be controlled or resisted. And as the influence of The Passion Room cannot be evaded, neither can the trove be revealed without absolute and consummate surrender to...” She paused as her eyes widened. “What?” she breathed. “No way!”

Blood Of The White Witch Blog Tour with Lacey Weatherford

It’s Saturday night and I’m lying in bed with my Kindle when my phone buzzes. A quick glance makes me SQUEE because it’s Vance Mangum, resident bad boy HOTTIE from the Of Witches and Warlocks series. He’s wondering if I’d like to go to Denny’s for a late night snack. I’m all for a little one-on-one time with my favorite book crush so here we are…..

Belinda: So what did you end up ordering?
Vance: I’m going with the Super Bird and Onion Rings… hmmm maybe I should rethink the rings seeing that’s not good for kissing breath.
Belinda: We’re going to kiss??? *I start to hyperventilate*
Vance: Umm? *he scratches behind head and looks away* Not what I had in mind but….who knows the night is young *chuckles nervously*
Belinda: So where’s Portia tonight? It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to chat with her.
Vance: I put her to bed early. Poor girl’s worn out *chuckles again*
Belinda: Well, this was a surprise. I know you guys have had a lot on your plate with family and stuff. It’s really good to see you again Vance. So what’s up?
Vance: You’ve been a good support and friend so I just wanted to check up on you and make sure everything going ok.  *He leans back against the booth seat, resting his chin on his knuckles*
Belinda: Oh you’re such a sweetheart! Things are doing pretty good. Still blogging and writing, causing mayhem and mischief wherever I go!
Vance: Oh yeah, I heard about RomCon and your photos! Who knew you liked it rough? *winks and grins*
Belinda: *I can’t help but blush a little* Hey that was all Lacey!! I plead my innocence.
Vance: Yeah, she said you’d blame her. I think you’re both wild!

The waitress brings our food and almost spills it all over me as she gives googley eyes toward Vance. The hot bus boy comes by to clean the neighboring table shortly after. He gives the same kind of eyes and almost trips over his feet.

Belinda: Lol doesn’t that bother you? The constant staring?
Vance: Someone was staring? *he shakes his head* They must have been looking at you.
Belinda: Yeah, I have that effect on women *I roll my eyes at him* Gosh, you’re a dork Vance! You’re a walking testament to sex on a stick. Look! *I point at the 80 year Grandmother trying to discreetly stare over at Vance over her menu* Do you see the drool?? Oh wait, her dentures fell out! *I gag a little* No, you’re right, Grandma’s looking at me! * I wink at the old lady and get an angry glare in return*
*Vance chokes on soda from laughing and almost shoots it out of his nose*
Belinda: HAHAHA now that’s attractive!
Vance: I see eating with you is going to be a dangerous adventure *he tries to stop coughing*
Belinda: You should see me in bed!!

Vance has to excuse himself from the table while he goes to the restroom to stop choking. I can’t help but lean over and watch him leave. Man, he has a fine looking butt! I notice I’m not the only one and I seriously hear a huge sigh in stereo. Waitress rushes over

Waitress: Is that your boyfriend? My gosh, he's HOT!
Belinda: No, just a good friend, but I do sleep with him every night in my dreams. Dude kisses like a God!
Waitress: Oh I bet, I’ve been having fantasies of … *she looks away embarrassed* never mind...
Vance: Fantasies of what Belinda? *he cocks his eyebrow with a mischievous grin as he returns*
Belinda: *I stammer* Ummm… nothing. *blushes 100 shades of red*

Waitress excuses herself and Vance slides back into the seat. He picks up half the sandwich and takes a bite. Awkward pause as Vance’s eyes never leave mine.

Vance: My, what a lovely shade of red you are Belinda *he chuckles* What color is that exactly?
Belinda: It’s “shut up Vance and eat your food magenta”
Vance: So is that the face your husband wakes up to each morning?
*It’s my turn to choke on my food*
Vance: Whoa, take it easy there… do you need mouth to mouth? *he leans forward real close, grabs my hand intimately* It’s called chewing Bels... you should try it. *He grabs my face and smacks his lips on my forehead* You crack me up!
Belinda: That’s me. I aim to entertain! *rolls eyes* I think you owe me for making me choke so badly. You should let me ask you any one question and you have to answer it honestly.
Vance: Fine by me but the street goes both ways. If I answer a question, you answer a question. Deal?
Belinda: Okay, bring it! Rock, paper, scissors?
*Vance and I assume the position. I do rock and Vance does paper. Vance points to me with a grin*
Belinda: Okay… let’s see. What went through your mind when you saw Portia walk down the aisle toward you at your wedding? I loved how Portia said your eyes lit up.
Vance:  *sighs and leans back in his seat with a secretive smile on his face and for a moment, I knew he wasn’t here with me as he remembered. He leans forward and rests his chin on his hands* That was probably one of the single most moving moments in my life. Are you sure you want to know everything?
Belinda: *I lean in closer* Yes please!
Vance: I couldn’t believe this girl had chosen me. I’d wanted her for years and now, she was finally going to be mine. In all honesty, I just wanted the wedding to be over. I wanted to sweep her off her feet and get her back to our room where I could make love to her all night long.  This whole time I’ve had this amazing connection with Portia that I’ve never had with another human being. To be able to consummate our relationship in this way, to me, took everything to a completely whole new plane. I never knew a person could love a person that much. I want to say she completes me but maybe it’s just that we complete each other.
Belinda *deep sigh, swoony grin and I reach for the menu to fan myself*
Vance: I’m not sure if this is the answer you were looking for but just know I’d be lost without her. She’s one of the most pure and beautiful things I’ve ever known. *he glances away before turning back with a grin* Sorry I didn’t mean to get sappy.
Belinda: Wow *I’m a little speechless* You’re so perfect Vance. No wonder you have girls swooning all around the world. Portia’s such a lucky girl.
Vance: Oh believe me, I’m the lucky one. So, ready for your question? Remember you promised honesty.
Belinda *sweats a little* Okay, I’m ready… I think.
Vance:  *He leans across the table and he draws lightly on the back on my hand with his finger. He stares at me without blinking, his eyes twinkling with mischief*  If there was no Portia, and you had the opportunity to go out with me and you could do anything you wanted, what would happen on this date?
Belinda *I gulp, all flustered and search for the waitress* CHECK PLEASE!!

What do you think MY ideal date with Vance would be?
Be creative!

The Vampire's Curse Blog Tour with S.J Wright

For those of you who were around when I hosted a stop on The Vampire's Warden blog tour... guess what? Book Two was released and today you get to read a book excerpt! As part of the blog tour, S.J. Wright is also giving away an ecopy of The Vampire's Curse... so without further ado, here's a snippet from this paranormal romance!

** Book Excerpt **

“Michael, get in.” She had the window rolled down, and I could see the cooler in the backseat. There would be bags of cooled blood inside. I cast one yearning glance towards the warm-blooded human staring at us suspiciously from her dirt driveway. One human death in a town of this size would draw a great deal of unwanted attention.

Resigned, I climbed into the passenger seat beside Victoria. Before she took off, she reached behind her, shoved the lid of the cooler aside, and threw three full bags of blood into my lap. Without a word, I ripped the cap from the first one and sucked it down. It rolled down my throat like sweet syrup, the coppery taste infusing me with power that I felt in every cell of my body.

“You must have found Meekah.” I mumbled.

She nodded, her eyes fixed on the road with precise concentration. “She’s waiting for us in Chicago.”
Meekah was one of my special projects from long ago. During one particularly hot summer I spent in Paris, I heard a rumor from another vampire about a young girl who could foresee the future. It was July of 1746. I’d been carousing drunkenly with a group of ambassadors from England for several months and was growing weary of them all, when I discovered, quite by accident, that there was a vampire posing a representative of Spain in Paris. One of the English fellows related to me an unremarkable story about how this pretender kept odd hours. When I pressed him for further information, he relayed to me that the Spanish ambassador was rumored to be a creature of the night and had drained two kitchen maids of their blood.

I was not pleased. It was ridiculously sloppy for a vampire to have exposed himself in such a way. With our speed and our ability to compel those around us to forget what they have seen, it has always been relatively easy to keep our true nature a carefully guarded secret from humankind. My place in Parisian society had been a role that I created with great care. I enjoyed my freedom, the opulence in which I lived day to day, and the knowledge that every drop of blood I took from a human would remain my own secret.

It was easy for me to find the culprit. Being a cautious creature, I did not immediately burst in upon him in his bed to demand explanations. For a week, I followed him from place to place. I watched him dine with royalty and talk earnestly with secretaries and clergymen. From dark corners, I witnessed the money that changed hands as he bribed his way into the highest society parties. The French would never trust a Spaniard, but they would accept his money in exchange for invitations to bright, glittering balls and fifteen-course dinner parties where only the very best food was served.

One night I watched him go into the back room of a dingy tavern by the docks, and I saw him recklessly murder a barmaid. He had bent her backwards over a rough wooden table cluttered with half-eaten plates of food. While he drained her, flies buzzed lazily throughout the room. Their incessant buzzing was enough to drive anyone mad.

The filth of the place combined with his thoughtless actions sickened me. Ending his pathetic existence was foremost in my mind. When he looked up from his latest victim to find me standing there in that disgusting place, he seemed genuinely surprised. Perhaps he had thought he was immune from the dark justice that other vampires often dealt out to their peers. Perhaps he believed that he was the only undead creature roaming the Paris streets for blood.

“What do you want?” He growled.

I attacked him without answering. It was rather messy. After I ripped off one of his legs, he began to beg. That sort of ploy did not typically have much effect on me. I was heartless when it came to disciplining my own kind.

Sounds fabulous, right?

Still reeling from having witnessed the vampire battle on her property that left her friend Alex a vampire himself, Sarah Wood is surprised yet again. This time, it's by a familiar face from the past. Sarah's guilt pushes her into doing something unbelievable. Sarah's ex-boyfriend, Trevor, causes some trouble that will have lasting effects. Michael finds himself in the unusual position of saving a life instead of taking one. Katie, the sister that Sarah wants to be protected at all costs, is in a new kind of danger. Don't miss this new, longer look into the world of the Vampire's Warden, Sarah, as she confronts old enemies, new friends and new lovers.

So I got to chat with Deena so here she is *cues clapping*

You're an amazing romance author - what made you decide this was the genre you'd write stories about?

Thank you so much for that incredible compliment! I believe that I didn’t pick the genre, but the genre picked me. As a reader, I’ve always adored romance and fantasy. When my first novel’s story came to me, I didn’t think genre, I thought what an awesome story! Then, when I was finished, I determined where it fit. Honestly, I’m writing what I love to read, paranormal romances and romantic suspense. If stranded on a desert island, I would want these types of books with me.

I've dubbed you Queen of Hearts And All Things Swoony, seeing everything you've written has made me a gooey mess - where do you find your inspiration?

*Giggles and bows for the coronation* I find my inspiration in my heart. I write stories that I’d like to see myself star in. I craft my characters and what they say based on what I and my love interest would say and do.

*insert* I SOOOOOOO couldn't resist!!

All Hail Queen Deena!

In 2-3 sentences, can you share what Picture Perfect is about with everyone?

Sure! Jamie White may appear to be the perfect hero on his romance novel covers, but when reality sets in each evening after work, he finds himself without a heroine of his own. It’s hard to be the object of every woman’s fantasies including the very models he poses with. When one of those models crosses the line, she become a dangerous threat to his burgeoning relationship with a woman who finally brings normalcy and love back into his life.

*insert* You did it again! You've made me want to reread it AGAIN! I'll have it memorized if you keep this up LOL

How did you come up with the storyline?

All it takes sometimes is a comment or keen observation to spark an idea and then off I go! The model on my cover is none other than Jimmy Thomas, and it is for him that I wrote this love story.

I loved the characters for this story, how'd their personalities develop?

I wanted Jamie’s personality to show a vulnerability that isn’t seen on his covers. I wanted to show the irony of his longing for the romance that he portrays on his covers. Hope encapsulates the kind of woman who is his perfect mate. She is strong, independent, in the “business”, and can be all things for him without losing herself.

What traits do you think are important for a heroine and hero? The love interests in your story?

They must show strength yet vulnerability, courage yet fear, and always a touch of humor.

What's something you would want readers to know about Jamie and Hope? What hidden secret do you think will endear them more?

They work well with each other as they create custom covers together – his photos and her designs. When they scour through the photos and such, they eat tons of popcorn, usually throwing a fair amount at each other. They’ve decided to make it a tradition of watching the sun rise and set on her birthday every year from now on.

What was your favorite moment in the story? Can you share it?

Oooh, that’s a hard one! There are quite a few moments that are so endearing to me that it’s hard to pick just one. I love the scene in the Urgent Care. It was a tender moment. Then, I adore the name scene! I also love it when they fall asleep on the couch together. And of course, the LOVE scenes!!!

Jamie and Hope are slow dancing, what song is playing?

Joshua Kadison, Beautiful in My Eyes. Yeah, look THAT one up!

When you close your eyes, who do you see as Jamie and Hope?

You’re really gonna ask me that, huh? Well, like any SANE woman would say… Jimmy Thomas and me!

*insert* For those who don't know who Jimmy Thomas is.... SHAME ON YOU! LOL He is an amazing romance cover model well known for the sensuality and emotions he produces.

SIZZLE!!!

If you could write an epilogue for the story, what would it say?

Ten years have gone by. Jamie and Hope have a successful romance cover modeling/graphic artist business. They have two kids and live at the beach full time. They all enjoy boogie boarding and building huge sand sculptures.

Any future stories in the works?

Yes! I have a 1-Night Stand ghostly romance story coming soon from Decadent Publishing. Boy, do I LOVE this story, too!

What other romance treasures can people read by you?

Currently, I have Trinity, Book One of the Brethren novel series, on sale in eBook and paperback, and Brethren Beginnings, the companion book to the Brethren novel series. Relic, Book Two, will be releasing soon from Decadent Publishing, and I’m working on Elixxir, Book Three, right now.

*insert* OMGSH her Brethren series is TO DIE FOR!! I HEART Nathanael!!

This week's question:
“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”

Hmm.. let me think... longest book. In my mind I can see my book shelves, those HUGE books but I'm drawing a blank (they're still packed up in boxes). I want to say that Harry Potter had some long books as well as the Eragon series. I do know I have the Outlander seies and they were pretty hefty but I haven't read them yet :)  I'm sure as I visit everyone's blog I'll be "Oh yeah!! I remember that book. It was good!"

Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Review: The Juliet Spell, by Douglas Rees

The Juliet Spell, by Douglas Rees
Genre: YA Fantasy/Romance
Publisher: Harper Teen
Available: September 27th

Blurb:
I’m Juliet.
At least, I wanted to be.
So I did something stupid to make it happen.
Well, stupid and wonderful.

I wanted the role of Juliet more than anything. I studied hard. I gave a great reading for it—even with Bobby checking me out the whole time. I deserved the part.

I didn’t get it. So I decided to level the playing field, though I actually might have leveled the whole play. You see, since there aren’t any Success in Getting to Be Juliet in Your High School Play spells, I thought I’d cast the next best—a Fame spell. Good idea, right?

Yeah. Instead of bringing me a little fame, it brought me someone a little famous. Shakespeare. Well, Edmund Shakespeare. William’s younger brother.

Good thing he’s sweet and enthusiastic about helping me with the play...and—ahem—maybe a little bit hot. But he’s from the past. Way past. Cars amaze him—cars! And cell phones? Ugh.

Still, there’s something about him that’s making my eyes go star-crossed....

Will Romeo steal her heart before time steals him away?

What I thought:
I found this story on NetGalley and I have to say the title was what caught my eye on this book, which is saying something since I’m not ashamed to admit I’m a cover girl.  I read the blurb for this story and thought it sounded really good.
