I was on Facebook the other day and the wonder Stacey Clifford posted a quote from the series. It sparked my interest and after chatting back and forth with others, I decided to start reading. HOLY FREAKING COW! Bad Bookish Snob for being a procrastinator!! At first I thought, "Hmmm this Puck is amazing. So funny and with a cocky swagger... how will Ash ever compare?" Then the man himself appeared and the rest is history! I swear the Winter Fey had me from hello *insert swoon* so much that I've dedicated the rest of the post to little snippets from him that I loved and I hope anyone reading, who has been putting this series off like I did.... STOP! Hahaha
"Something cold touched my cheek, and I glance up to see snowflakes in a lightning-riddled sky. It was eerily beautiful, and I shivered. "What will happen then?"Ash steepped closer. His fingers came up to brush the hair from my face, sending an electric shock through me from my spine to my toes. His cool breath tickled my ear as he leaned in.
"I'll kill you," he whispered, and walk away, joining his brothers at the table. He did not look back"

"What do you want of me, Meghan?" he asked, a low thread of anguish flickering below the surface. Tears blurred my vision, all the fear and heartache of the past few days rising to the surface.
"Just you," I whispered. "I just want you."
He closed his eyes. "I can't do that."

I will add though, this part by Puck KILLED me and put tears in my eyes:
"I would have gotten you there!" Puck roared. "Me! You don't need his help! Don't you trust me to keep you safe? I would've given everything or you. Why didn't you think I'd be enough?"

I'll accept any "Told you so's" now LOL
