Get Your Swoon On - Slave To Her Desires

"He touched my cheek, turning my face to his, and his gaze locked on my blue eyes. His silver ones immediately melted to blue, and I felt the surge of desire when it hit his body as well as mine. He gripped my face, pulling me closer and closer, and I resisted the urge to melt agaisnt him.

"Olivia... I'm not saying this right, am I?" His breath rasped close, his lips a bare inch from my own. His gaze focused on my face, devourig me with his eyes. "I could sit here and tell you all day about how I am coping just fine, but that's the wrong thing to say, isn't it? Because I feel like you want to leave, and I want to beg you to stay, and I don't know how."

I licked my dry lips, heart fluttering. "You could start with a 'please'"

"Please don't leave me, Olivia," David wered huskily against my mouth. His lips dipped against mine, tasting me. His tongue stroked lightly between my lips, a tease of a caress. "I need you at my side"

What better reason do you need than that? *grins*

Out of all the authors participating, I'm cheering, wooting, squeeing over my buddy, Stacey Kennedy and her AMAZING paranormal romance, Stolen Dreams. Just in case you missed it when I posted it, I'm going share my gush review again. Once it's done, head on over to Stacey's site, say hello and before you know it, you'll have your very own copy!

Stolen Dreams
Stacey Kennedy

Wow. What a story! When I was asked to read and later review STOLEN DREAMS, the comment “I hope you like this Belinda” was offered. In my mind, it’s a Stacey Kennedy story so for me it was a no brainer – I would read it and fall head over heels in love with it. It didn’t matter that there were no vampires or werewolves in it; I was ready to try a new kind of supernatural… a ghost. Having read some of the amazing scenes from Stacey’s previous books, I had no doubt the story would be filled with humor and incredible emotion. What I was curious about was how would she give me those hot yummy bedroom scenes when one of the characters was strictly no touching? Would the story still contain the heat I’m addicted too? Let me tell you… OH HECK YEAH!

STOLEN DREAMS tells the story of Tess Jennings. She’s just a regular character – beautiful, successful, great best friend. But there’s something that sets her apart. Something that others may call a gift but most days, she calls a flat out curse because she can see, hear and talk to ghosts. These lingering spirits come to her for help and to keep them from annoying her for eternity, Tess sucks it up and helps but one morning as she’s in Starbucks getting her morning dose of caffeine, she finally meets her match. Tired of feeling harassed, Tess ignores the ghost who approaches her, hoping the spirit will take the hint and take a hike. And he does… to her work, her apartment and out on a blind date where he proceeds to arouse her with some HOT HOT dirty talk. Knowing that if she doesn’t respond to him she’ll be walking around with a perpetual blush, Tess learns that the ghost – Kipp McGowan was a cop who worked on a famous cold case and he has an important message to give his partner – he has a clue to the murder of Hannah Reid that is linked also with his death. He needs Tess’s help and after a little reluctance, she agrees. The story unfolds as the duo include Kipp’s partner Zach and Tess finds herself knee deep in detective work, all the while fighting hard the attraction she feels towards Kipp. She tells herself she shouldn’t feel this way, that as a ghost he’ll move on but the chemistry between the two is scorching and it leads to some pretty imaginative scenes. As both their hearts become invested, the question lingers in the air – how long with Kipp be around before he moves on and how will Tess ever be able to survive it?

Stacey did such an amazing job writing this story because it was filled with so many funny moments that helped lighten some of the tense moments. She has such a good sense of humor that shines through her characters and my favorite scene would have to be where the men explained to Tess how police work was such a rush that it gave them all hard ons. Can you imagine being Tess, in the middle of nowhere (they were on the case) suddenly standing still? Where do you think her eyes would have gone? Yep and she just had to comment on it. Made me chuckle so hard, I had to share it with my husband. I love that I was able to picture the story in my mind because it made it so much easier to become a part of what I’m reading. Stacey always does such a great job describing each scene and there was one mid way that will forever be etched in my mind it was so HOT *fans self* Another thing I loved about how it was written was there are books where you’re part way through and you can pretty much guess the way it’ll end. With STOLEN DREAMS, you think you know but as I read there were just so many different possibilities. It helped keep everything fresh and my mind intrigued because I wanted to know what would happen. When I finally did get to the end and everything was revealed, I was left with a huge smile on my face because I was completely satisfied.

Kipp can come haunt me anytime he wants, especially if he brings that sweet talking mouth of his. My first reaction to Kipp as I watched him try to get Tess’s attention was to shiver and giggle because he was just downright sexy. He’s the type of man that once he focuses on you you’re a goner and that pretty much sums it up for Tess. I can’t begin to imagine how hard it was for him being a ghost – not being able to touch or smell, to spend all day with the woman you love and never be able to truly kiss and hold her. But he didn’t just heat up the pages for me, Kipp also had a very caring heart and I wept for him when he finally had that moment of “OMGSH I’m a ghost. I’ve really lost my opportunity to live the normal life I’ve dreamt of” He always came across as a strong, focused character that seeing those moments where he was vulnerable were endearing. I loved how he was with Hannah and the strength he had to put solving her crime first, even though it looked like doing it would make him move on also. So many incredible moments with this character and it was impossible not to fall in love with him.

This is definitely going to be another hit for the author because STOLEN DREAMS is the story that sucks you in and leaves you sighing. All I can say is thank goodness this is a series because I haven’t gotten close to enough of Kipp and his charming ways and I have a feeling as Tess begins to learn more about her gift, things will really start getting interesting. Can’t say enough about just how much I loved this book. Happy Reading!

The Demon Kiss Blog Tour- Character Interview / Giveaway

I am GIDDY! I absolutely love this series, been a fan from the beginning and a hard luster after Vance. That guy makes me swoon everytime! For those who missed it, last tour I had Portia and Vance on for an interview and we had a blast. I thought of having them back again today, to get a update on everything but if you're like me, there's a character that just really irks you and everytime he makes an appearance you want to give him a piece of your mind. That's why today - I'm interviewing Vance's jerk of a father Damien Cummings. Enjoy.....

Scene: In the lovely tower offices of the fabulous Bookish Snob Headquarters, Damien Cummings, evil demon extraordinaire sits on a leather couch in a pristine window suite awaiting his interview with the much sought after Belinda, a.k.a The Bookish Snob. Damien glances down at his watch, tapping his foot with nervous anxiety as he impatiently wonders what the hold is since the interview was supposed to begin right this minute. Enter Belinda: “Good, you're right on schedule, Mr. Cummings. Thanks for coming by. I've wanted to meet with you for quite some time.” She doesn’t offer to shake hands with him, instead motioning for him to take a seat on one of the sofa chairs, which he does, and she sits opposite him. Damien: “Ms. Snob. It's a pleasure to meet you finally.” He gives a polite nod of his head. “You're reputation precedes you. Thank you for inviting me here today.”

Belinda: “Can I get you anything before we start? Something to eat? Drink? Just desserts?” She mumbles the last part to herself.

Damien: “Pardon me?” He leans forward slightly. “I didn't quite catch that last part.”

Belinda: “Desserts ... would you like to try some desserts?” She points to the table with pastries and muffins on a plate.

Damien: “Oh, no thanks.” He gives a slight smile and leans back in his chair.

Belinda: “Shall we get started then?” She continues on without waiting for his reply. “It looks like the antiques business is treating you well.” She lifts her eyes to glance at his expensive suit. “Exactly what do you deal in, Mr. Cummings?”

Damien: “It has, thank you. I actually specialize mostly. I've been on quite a few archeological digs in my life, and I'm always looking for that unique artifact that's out there somewhere. I'm not into the whole shards of pottery thing, I'm interested in the big finds, the ones you won't ever want to part with, the high ticket items.” He glances around the room, taking in all of her family photos and awards. “I take it you're not really a connoisseur of fine art, are you, Ms. Snob? When you're receptionist called me about this interview I imagined I’d see much loftier things here, especially for someone with a name like yours, don't you think? It’s often the case with powerful people, like yourself, to exhibit some decorum of fashionable taste.”

Belinda: “I suppose that would be an easy assumption.” She lifts her head to follow his gaze around the office. “I've never been big on possessions. I'm more of a relationship and people kind of person. You can have all the fancy artwork you want, but if you don't have loved ones to share it with, what's the point? You can't cuddle art work.”

Damien: He gives her a smirk, his eyes flashing over her body before he stares back up at her. “I suppose some people may feel that way. I personally like to have the things in my life on display. Nothing is better than sitting back with a fine goblet of ... wine and drinking in your surroundings. It's so, stimulating.” He continues to stare at her. “What's your opinion on say ... living art sculpture, Ms. Snob?”

Belinda: She looks confused at his question. “A living art sculpture?” Damien: He chuckles slightly over her perplexed look. “Don't play naive with me, Ms. Snob. I'm sure you've seen or read about museums with living art displays, people twisted into extreme positions, suggestive poses of carnal delight.” He pauses briefly. “No? Perhaps your taste tends to run toward mimes and the like.”

Belinda: She laughs. “Contrary to some people’s beliefs, Mr. Cummings, I'm not into the lewd. I like my art the way I love my romance - intimate and sensual. I can see why you may like it though.” Her voice hardens even though she chuckles. “From the sounds of it, it's depraved, cold, void of emotion. Oh, it explains so much.”

Damien: He grins widely as she gives rise to his baiting. “And there's the real Ms. Snob I've been looking for!” He gives a nod and stands up, walking over to Belinda. “It's a pleasure to finally meet you.” He leans over her chair, placing his arms to either side of her. “Let's cut the bull, shall we? Why don't you tell me why you really brought me here?”

Belinda: “You don't intimidate me Mr. Cummings.” She stares straight into his eyes. “You may have everyone trembling in their shoes, bending over backwards in fear, but I know who you are. You're a bully.” She glances at his arms which are boxing her in. “Your position proves it. Now go be a good little boy and return to your seat.” She waits for a few seconds and when he doesn’t comply she continues. “I asked you here today to give you a warning... one that comes with the full backing of readers everywhere.” She adds and extra edge to her voice. “Leave. Vance. And. Portia. ALONE!”

Damien: He doesn’t move, though and expression of anger flashes over his face. “I'd be very careful if I were you. You’re treading on very thin ice with me right now and I've killed people for less. You certainly have no business trying to mess in my personal affairs. You might not be a witch, Ms. Snob, but I'd be more than happy to sample a little of your blood to find out if I might acquire a taste for a mere human.” He bares his teeth in emphasis, allowing his fangs to lengthen.

Belinda: She bursts out laughing, trying to regain her composure as she looks at his fangs, but she’s unable to. “I think you underestimate ME, Damien! You may be a big, bad demon,” she says in a mocking tone, “and yes, you may be able to drink my blood, BUT I'm THE Bookish Snob. So I'll repeat it again because it seems in your old age, you're a little hard of hearing! Leave Vance and Portia alone or suffer the consequences! Trust me, you'll be no match for the full wrath of Vance's fans. They will tear you to shreds ... with me leading the attack in the fore front!” Damien: He yanks Belinda up out of her chair. “Give it your best shot,” he growls and he throws her up against the wall.

Belinda: “Don't mind if I do, you jerk!” She looks around for a weapon. “People like you make me so angry! You torture an innocent kid ... terrorize him ... try to twist him into a monster just like you!” She spies her bookshelf and rushes over to grab the first book she sees. “But you know what? You'll never win! Vance is too good for you. He has Portia now and together they’ll destroy you!” She looks at the book she’s holding and grins. “Want to know what power I have, Damien? An imagination!” She throws the book at him. “Here! Have you ever dealt with a protective Dark Hunter before?” She throws another book. “How about a Highlander in warrior mode?” She laughs mockingly as she continues chucking books at him. “They are more man than you!”

Damien: He attempts to dodge the books before he rushes to her, grabbing her by the wrists before he pins her against the wall. “Maybe you need a real man right now, because a fictional one isn't going to help you with this.” He grins evilly as his face flashes into a demon mask and he lowers his sharp teeth to her neck.

Belinda: She grunts and shoves him back with her arms, trying to keep him at bay. “Wouldn't you know it! All this dreaming of being slammed up against a wall and being bitten and its YOU who does it. Sorry old man, but you don't turn me on. But I tell you what, is this real man enough? Meet Oscar!” She reaches for the golden statue on her desk and slams it over his head, laughing at his surprised look as he tumbles to the floor. “Take that sucker! I told you to never underestimate me! She glances at the cheesy knock off Oscar award she’s holding, wiping a smear of blood off the base. “And the Oscar goes to Belinda from The Bookish Snob for the best piece of acting ever!” She bows to the empty room as if it were full of squealing fans, only to stop in mid swoop as she realizes someone else is in the room with her.

Enter Vance: He rushes to Belinda's side and grabs her by the shoulders as he checks her over with concern. “Belinda! What in the world is going on in that head of yours? I appreciate your loyalty and all, but you could've gotten yourself killed! Don't ever do something like this again! I won't always be around to help you!” He shakes her slightly. “Do you understand? This could have been disastrous!” Damien stirs on the floor beside him and Vance turns Belinda, pushing her toward the door with a sense of desperation. “Run, Belinda and don't look back! I will take care of this. You just get to a safe place and stay there!”

Belinda: She refuses to run. “I had to do it Vance. This man is nothing but a bully and I’m sick of it!” She kicks Damien hard in the head and he groans before passing out again. “He's pathetic, and he needs to know that those of us who love you and Portia aren't going to sit around and watch him harass you any more.” She reaches out tenderly and touches Vance’s cheek. “Don't you think you've had enough?” She drops her hand to look around the room and down at herself. “Ugh! The jerk messed up my office and he tore my blouse! This is one of my favorite!” She walks into the adjoining room while mumbling about making Damien pay some more before she emerges in a new blouse. She leans up against the wall and opens up a piece of gum. “Sorry about the gum. I know it’s not very professional,” she grumbles, “but it’s like I can taste him on me.”

Vance: He waves her off. “It’s not a problem.”

Belinda: She watches him roll the unconscious Damien over. “Hey Vance, how'd you even know to come here?”

Vance: He shuffles about uncomfortably, seemingly at a loss for words. “Truthfully, I read your blog, The Bookish Snob, all the time.” He looks a little embarrassed before he magically lifts Damien unto a chair and binds him with his powers. He turns back to Belinda. “I like reading the Vance Rants posts. They’re very flattering.” He shrugs. “I've been having someone watch your place in case my father ever tried to approach you. Just covering the bases of people he might use to get to me.”

Belinda: She smiles widely, walking over next to him. “Well, as President of your fan club, it makes sense I was a target. I'm glad you were here just in case. I tell you what, it sure felt good to hit him with Oscar.” She looks at the unconscious Damien. “Do you need me for anything else? I got reviews to write, book characters to gush over...” she trailed off.

Vance: He shakes his head. “No. I've got this, but I was serious when I told you to be careful, Belinda.” He reaches out to place a hand on her shoulder. “I would be devastated if something bad happened to you.” The two lock eyes for a moment, before Vance clears his throat and steps away. “I guess I better get this guy out of here.” He turns back toward Damien.

Belinda: “Wait a second Vance.” She pauses as he turns back around. “Thanks for trying to be my knight in shining armor.” She leans forward and kisses him gently on the cheek. “Portia's a lucky girl.” She turns to leave but stops. “Dang it!” She turns to look back at Vance uncertainly. “I’m sorry Vance, but I'll kick myself for the rest of my life if I don't...” She rushes over, grabbing Vance by the face, pulling him down to meet her lips in a smoldering kiss as she slides her fingers up into his hair. Her heart races as he opens his mouth with a slight gasp and she brazenly takes full advantage, slipping her tongue inside to meet his kissing him hotly before she steps back to release him. “Wow!” she says with a blush as Vance stares at her in surprise. “Yeah ... she’s one lucky girl. See ya later, Vance...” She walks confidently to the door with a little spring in her step, reaching for the doorknob right before she pauses and turns to look at him again. “Um Vance? Can I have my gum back?”

So there you have it!

Hedgeland Blog Tour - Book Excerpt

Welcome, welcome everyone! I am UBER excited because today I'm hosting a fellow Aussie on my blog! Author Ann Nyland hails from New South Wales (same as me!) and she makes me completely homesick! She's written an urban fantasy novel called Hedgeland and is currently touring blogs. Today, she's sharing a book excerpt and I encourage you to buy yourself a copy! Here's what the book is about....

Book Blurb
Hedgeland, an urban fantasy of time travel. Dr April Neuland, a Professor of Ancient Languages turned non-fiction writer, has been plagued by dreams all her life, dreams of her past life in the Otherworld. Meanwhile, in a parallel dimension of April's past and Caridwen's future, Worthing, a Future History Professor, has allied with the Military to access Future Internet communications and use new technology to influence April to write an ebook novel revealing where she, in her past life as Caridwen, hid the Kiste, a device to travel through time and space. Hedgeland weaves all three time/space frames: Caridwen, Worthing, and April. Hedgeland is the first in the Hedgecraft Sequence, but is a fully self contained novel with no cliff hangers.

Today's feature is a fun book excerpt..

Stacey was one of my WOOOHOO author finds last year and she repeatedly dazzles me with her stories. I have yet to read anything by her that I haven't loved and Stolen Dreams.... STUNNING! Of course, I may be biased... the book is dedicated to me *blushes* so please, read and enjoy, then when you're finished, buy yourself a copy because it's just that good! Also friend her on Facebook and follow her on Twitter (@Stacey_Kennedy)... she is VERY interactive and friendly with everyone and she's an amazing person! I love her to PIECES!!

Over to you Stacey...

I’m so excited to be here at Bookish Snob to chat with you all today about Stolen Dreams!! So, let’s to get it. How do write a romance where the hero is a ghost? How is it possible to write love scenes where the hero and heroine cannot touch?

Let me first say Stolen Dreams made me dig down deep creatively. I’d never written a ghost romance before, and it hadn’t clued into me that the sex scene might be a challenge until I got to it. Since none of the normal rules apply it took a little thought about how they could find some sort of pleasure together. But my concern didn’t last long. Kipp showed me the way…and in the end I was shocked myself by hot the scene turned out.

Truthfully, I think the fact that Kipp is a ghost made the scene that much hotter. The inability for them to touch each made the love scenes take on an edge that I wasn’t expecting, nor did I intend to write. There’s no kissing, no gentle embraces, but I think I’ll let you judge for yourself if you think Tess and Kipp take passion to a whole nother level…

Bloodmaiden Blog Tour - Book Trailer by Author Christine Schulze

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to be the first stop on the YA Fantasy blog tour for BLOODMAIDEN by Christine Schulze. Christine just amazes me with her imagination and her ability to put you right there in the scene. Check out this book and her other titles -

Christine Schulze
Young Adult Fantasy

Zale. Gauthier. Varden. These three dynasties, they all sound like something out of an ancient, oriental myth or fairy tale. The concept of humans and dragons helping and living in harmony with one another, without fear. To me, that's exactly what they are. A distant dream only read of, whispered secretly, quietly yearned for. For, you see, I am the new Quelda of Tynan.

These words echo the mystery, horror, and romance found within Schulze's fantasy novel. Along with her new husband, Chalom, Crislin must choose to embrace cruel tradition, run from it, or stand against it. The young couple's only hope is to rally the help of the three peaceful dragon dynasties of Sulaimon;but tradition is not on their side, even outside the realm of Tynan. The dragons outside Tynan's borders have been rumored as too stubborn and proud to believe their Tynanian brothers would commit such horrors as inflicted upon the Quelda. Gaining their aid is not a likely hope. Yet, any hope at all is valued in Tynan...

If they are to stand a chance of bringing cruel tradition to a permanent end, Crislin and Chalom must brave the constant, consuming blizzards of the Ever-white. They must brave the three dynasties and the challenges awaiting there. Together, they must convince the dragon emperors to allow them access to the shrines which house the sacred Aria - protective strands of music which may be able to disperse the evil from Tynan and unite the four dynasties of Sulaimon as a whole once again. Their only aid stems from a sprite whose moods are as unstable as her magic, a young minstrel, and a mysterious fox. Despite the odds, such plans are daring, dangerous, unprecedented, but fully possible - if they can escape the Wall first.

Now for a great book trailer...

Next Blog Stop is Readergirls

Exciting final stop of the tour..

Here's a little something about this amazing author...
Christine E. Schulze has been creating books since she was too young to even write them in words. Her collection of YA fantasy books, The Amielian Legacy, is comprised of series and stand-alone books which can all be read separately but which weave together to create an amazing fantasy. She hopes to inspire readers throughout the world with these books by publishing in both traditional and electronic formats to make them available to all readers.

Hunting For Sexy Heroes - Jonathan Rhys Meyers

I have a confession to make. I recently indulged in watching hours and hours of The Tudors on Showtime and did it solely to watch delicious Henry Cavill. Thing is .. I took one look at the guy I'm featuring today and was completely infatuated. I've gone to the Tower of London, seen Henry the VIII's clothes and heirlooms and the whole time imagined this overweight, sweaty gross king. Hello?? Tudors put the sexy back into the monarch when the cast our hero as the lead. Do you know who he is?

Review Request - A Warning And A Giggle!

A month or so ago my email got hacked! Scary as heck because everyone on my contact list was sent an informative sales pitch on how I just LOVE my motorcycle so wouldn't they like to click on the link and get one? *rolls eyes* Luckily, people knew it wasn't me and there was no harm done but I've been VERY wary ever since. Have you ever got those emails from Hotmail Live Team asking for account info? You're never sure whether it's REALLY Hotmail and I was told it's a virus, another way jerks like to mess with us. So I don't touch them and most times I have no problem. *cue music* That is until today.

I have a dilemma. Authors are always emailing and asking if I'd like to review their books. Today I got an email but instead of it being sent from the author, it was sent by.... Hotmail Live Team! Hehe have they broken out into the book world? Picked up a side job? It makes me wonder - are jerks THAT desperate to hack my laptop that they'll masquerade as authors now? So I don't know what to do. The author is legit - he has a book but I can't find an email to contact him.

I talked with my BFF and she shared that hackers are getting trickier... they're starting to disguise their attempts as something you'd be interested in. I know it's a scam if I'm being sold penis enlargement pills or other crap like that. But if it's book related? I'm hesitant. So I just wanted to share and send out a warning - this may be for real... or it may not. Be careful and if you get hacked? Let me know and we'll hunt together... hackers tick me off!

Ok, now here's the giggle part - I opened the email on my phone (I thought it was safer - rather my phone crash than my email/laptop) and read the message. Even the way it was set up made me question whether it was for real... it wasn't written like most queries but it's the beginning that had me giggling.. what do you think?

"Dear Bookish Snob,

I thought the following might arouse your curiosity. This is hetero (I couldn't quite work out whether your site is gay)"

PLEASE tell me someone else choked reading that!! I seriously had to check my blog and see whether it had been hacked and replaced by something different LOL Couldn't quite work out. Didn't the semi naked men give it away? The picture of me... a girl? Posts about my husband? The reviews I've written where I GUSH and LUST after the hero? Honestly, please tell me if somehow I've been remiss in my duties as a lover of romance and MEN, to show my appreciation! *giggles*

So, to reinforce my stance as a GIRLY lover of all things men.....  I give you ..... ME and sexy men!!

Vampire Relationship Guide Blog Tour - WORLD EXCLUSIVE

I am GIDDY excited today because not only is it my turn to host the fabulous Evelyn LaFont and her hilarious debut book, Vampire Relationship Guide, Vol 1 BUT she has given me a...

For the first time EVER, readers can get a sneak peek of a book excerpt from VRG Volume 2!! This is such an honor and is anyone else SQUEEING with me? For those who haven't had a chance to read this book, you need to! It's the story of Josie, a fellow vampire lover who'd like nothing more than to date a fanged hottie! Lucky girl meets TWO - Gregory and Walker and ladies... they are SPECTACULAR. Take it it from me, you'll be swooning and I was left a gooey mess over Walker *grins* So make sure you click on the link and grab yourself a copy before you leave.

Now, sit back and enjoy this delicious snippet!

“Chow’s here and…oh,”

I pulled my gaze from the yummy-looking pizza and looked  up toward Walker’s voice to see what he’d been distracted by and realized it was me.

Because I’m so hot when I’m wet and wrapped in a towel, I stop men in their tracks. Right. Okay, yeah, apparently I do. Or I stop this man, anyway.

Walker’s body slid toward me in one dark, almost predatory movement that held both intention and promise, his eyes never leaving mine, and put his lips to my mouth. I placed my hands on the tucked-in towel keeping me covered.

As his lips moved to my jaw, then eventually down to my neck, he nibbled lightly, my body on fire, screaming for me to respond. But I just stood there, frozen, like a bunny in the woods trying to go unnoticed.

My hands clenched and held my towel in a death grip. It was weird. I’d never had this problem before; it was almost as if finally being on his turf was throwing me off my game and making me feel unbalanced or disadvantaged.

Eventually, Walker’s hands were drawn to the towel—the only barrier between my skin and his lips—and he began to pull. And boy, did my nipples wanted him to succeed. He grabbed my hands, removing them from their grasp on the cotton, and undid my feeble wrapping.

Then the towel fell to the floor."

ARGHH... August can't come FAST ENOUGH!

Next stop on the tour is

The Vampire's Warden Blog Tour - Book Excerpt

Welcome to The Vampire's Warden blog tour - I'm excited to have author S.J Wright offer up a book excerpt from her debut book, The Vampire's Warden *grins* I love being able to share snippets so if you like what you read, head over to either Amazon or Barnes & Noble  Grab yourself a copy!

“Well, well.  Sarah Brightman.”
The man standing before me was all too familiar.  Trevor Kincaid.  He still had that lazy half smile and those twinkling brown eyes that I’d fallen so hard for several years ago.  I’d learned my lesson the hard way from this jerk about how to be cautious about guys who claim they don’t have a girlfriend.  This guy was a snake.  He was a major player and didn’t give a crap who ended up getting hurt.
“Trevor.”  I greeted him icily, avoiding eye contact.
Without an invitation, he slid into the seat across from me and leaned forward, “How have you been?”
“That’s not really any of your business, is it?”
His face lost a bit of its casual friendliness when he realized that I wasn’t interested in conversing with him.
“Damn, girl.  You don’t have to be a bitch.  I was just saying hello.”  He slowly slid out of the booth and leaned over the table, his face just a few inches from mine, “You sure you don’t want to go another round with me?  I was your first, remember?”
I felt the anger rushing through my veins and tried to get a grip on it before things got out of control.  Roxanne had been pouring coffee at a table near the door, but had begun to make her way over towards us.
“Oh, we can definitely go another round, you piece of shit.”  I growled, starting to rise from my seat with the intent to backhand Trevor across his smug face.
“Trevor, you better think twice about provoking this girl.”  Roxanne said tightly, “If I remember correctly, you got one hell of a right hook from her when she found out you’d been lying to her about Amy Dickson.”
He glanced over at her and rubbed his jaw, “Yeah, she’s got a temper.”  He gave me a little wink and sauntered over to one of the stools at the bar.  Roxanne rolled her eyes at him and shook her head.
A few of my readers have mentioned that Trevor comes into the story and nothing happens with him.  The reason that I wanted to bring a piece of Sarah’s romantic past into the fold of things was to give the reader an idea of where some of her anger comes from.  This guy really did break her heart.  After she found out what kind of guy he was, she had a hard time putting her trust into any other guy. Trevor Kincaid will be playing a larger role in The Vampire’s Curse, Book Two of the Undead in Brown County series.  We’ll get to see more of his dark side and meet a few of his friends.

Next stop on the tour is Reality Bites
