Don't know what is in your library? Want to share your books with others? Curious to know what is in other libraries?
This new meme will allow you to share your personal library, bound or virtual, with the Mad Scientist and other bloggers. Every Thursday stop by and share FIVE books & perhaps a snippet of your thoughts or link to a review.
I don't think I've ever shown my library on my blog. It's in a complete shambles right now because I'm trying to rearrange and organize it, looking for doubles, seeing what I don't want to read. But this is it at the moment....
Missing from the pictures: HUGE piles in my bedroom on desk and dresser
Two 4-5 shelve book cases and the piles onto of DVD holders LOL
Not shown: Kindle library
I thought that I'd share something from my physical and Kindle library every other week.
This week, it's my print books...
The Rest Falls Away by Colleen Gleason - Book #1
I read this a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. I rushed out and bought the rest of the series but didn't get around to reading it. I was looking at this the other month for The Morbid Romantica Challenge but *sniff* I got distracted. It's on my list of rereads though.
Hood by Stephen Lawhead - Book #1 in King Raven series
I bought this after I saw the recent movie version of Robin Hood with Russell Crowe. Still haven't read it. I did read one called Lord Of Thieves by indie author Ingela Hyatt. Here's the REVIEW
Kiss Of Fate by Deborah Cooke - Book #3 in Dragonfire series
I read the first book, Kiss of Fate, and absolutely LOVED it. I'd only been reading about were shifters so the idea of dragons was exciting. I got online ans ordered the rest of the books that had been released and wait for it... I haven't read it yet LOL Can you see a trend here?
Ravished By A Highlander by Paula Quinn
Bought this book for one reason and one reason only... I LOVE HIGHLANDERS. I'm almost to embarassed to say it but... I haven't read it yet. I've been caught up in review requests and I'm looking forward to attacking my bookshelves again.
Dragon Spell by Donita K. Paul - Book #1 in Dragonkeeper Chronicles
I absolutely LOVE this fantasy series. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It was one of the first sets of books I bought a few years ago so I did read the entire series. It's a Christian themed story but it wasn't at all preachy. I loved the characters, especially Paladin and his gentle counsel. I'd honestly finish scenes with him deeply touched and I'd copy passages out into my journal because they were inspiring. Kale is incredibly likeable and I really felt a kinship with her. In fact, I'm going to move all the books to my dresser so I can start rereading them. They're a series filled with deep emotion, exciting adventure, magical wonder and loving friendships. I'd recommend others to read it in a heartbeat!
Ok, I'm off to see what's on your bookshelves!
