For those of you following, The Romance Reviews is celebrating their GRAND OPENING this month and part of the festivities is voting for your favorite ROMANCE book of 2010. There are specific categories to choose from and all you need do is scroll through the nominations and pick the one you like most (or if you're like me an you can't choose, you are able to make multiple choices) I am SUPER excited because some of my favorite indie authors have their books listed so I wanted to do a quick post to WOOHOO them and encourage everyone to hop on by and vote
First off, under the Best YA Romance category, The Blood Of The White Witch by Lacey Weatherford. This is the third book in the Of Witches And Warlocks series and my favorite so far. I posted a while back that it was this series that introduced me to Lacey and because of it my life changed. We're soul sisters now and she was a major influence in me blogging and writing... heck my whole LIFE. Expect BIG things from her in the next few months!
HP Mallory was nominated three for her amazing Jolie Wilkins series - both Fire, Burn and Cauldron Bubble and Toil and Trouble are under the Best Urban Fantasy in 2010 andFire, Burn and Cauldron Bubbleunder Best Debut Book in 2010. I am addicted to Eve Langlais and her HOT romance stories. I've just started reading erotic paranormal and her couples are scorching and leave you panting. She's nominated for Best Debut Book AND Best Paranormal Romance for Lucifer's Daughter. She's definitely an author I'd recommend if you're looking for stories filled with fiesty heroines and drop dead gorgeous heroes. *sigh*
YAY!! YAY!! Stacey Kennedy is up for three nominations and I absolutely love her books. Each book leaves me in an emotional gooey mess and a smile on my face. She's up for Best Debut Book for The Willow, Best Paranormal Romance for The Devil's Kiss and Best Urban Fantasy for An Everlasting Bite. One thing I love about this author is she is always writing so you're guaranteed ALOT of delicious reading which makes me very, very happy! Lori Brighton is nominated twice - Best Historical Romance for Wild Heart and Best Paranormal Romance for The Ghost Hunter. I have yet to read a book by Lori that I haven't devoured and the last one Wild Desire was a complete rush! It was like Indiana Jones mixed with hot, steamy romance and I loved it. Congratulations to Amy and Telesis who recently one prize packs of her complete work.
Here is the author that I have my then highest rating - the HALLELUJAH chorus - to after I read her Jude Magdelyn series. I absolutely ADORED her books and gushed for weeks about them. She's nominated for Best Urban Fantasy for Shades of Gray - book one in the series. Great news is.... I'm about to giveaway a copy of this series here on my blog for one lucky winner in the next few days!
Marcia McClure is my ALL time favorite sweet romance author. I devour every book I can get my hands on of hers and they are a guaranteed SWOON read. She was nominated for Best Contemporary Romance for Kissing Cousins and Best Western Romance for The Windswept Flame and Weathered Too Young. These books are among my favorites of hers, especially Kissing Cousins. Swaggart is to die for and I wouldn't have a problem having an all night kissing marathon with him *sigh*
