Cover Releases For Upcoming Romance Stories

Wooohoooo!!! I was doing the snoopy dance earlier this week when I saw this. While I still mourn saying goodbye to my beloved Dimitri, I'm looking forward to seeing what this new series will do. Lots of story threads were left open at the end of Last Sacrifice so August 23 2011 can't come fast enough. There's no blurb yet (that I could find) but here's a statement I found on Richelle's blog....

"Bloodlines is the spin-off series to Vampire Academy (it's the name of the first book and of the series). It's set in the VA world but will be about different characters: Sydney (our narrator), Jill, Eddie, and one of the love interests from VA."

Don't you just LOVE this cover? Her eyes just jump right out and draw you in and any book that even hints about being about kissing *swoons* is one I'm anxious to read. I'm pretty new to these indie authors - all except for my FAVE author Stacey Kennedy so fingers crossed, I'll be expanding my TBR when I check out their other work. Here's the blurb for Stacey's story... It's due out March 2011

Destiny has brought together one yearning ghost and the woman meant to save him.

Ethan Thomas has spent years alone―forever trapped between worlds. Once a soldier in the Civil War, he’s now a ghost bound to a chaise lounge that once belonged to him. He’s spent centuries lingering in Savannah, Georgia, waiting to be saved… Cassandra Cole is an interior designer who has been hired to restore an old Victorian home. But as she begins to furnish the home strange happenings begin to erupt around her. She suspects the house is haunted. Determined to find out, Cassie will set out to discover who this ghost is, why she feels a connection to him, and what she has to do to free him will surprise her in ways she couldn’t have imagined.

Speaking of Stacey Kennedy *insert squeal here* she has ANOTHER release scheduled for the end of this month and this one promises to be AMAZING. If you've read any of her work before, you're familiar with her talent for mixing heartfelt emotion, humor and down and dirty, hot and sexy loving! I LOVE this cover she just released yesterday and it's a great change from her other beautiful covers. Here's the blurb...

Lives have been lost―dreams stolen, but love carves a path to hope.

Tess Jennings has the ability to see and talk to spirits. On a daily basis, they harass and annoy her to save their souls.  Sometimes she helps, other times she ignores them, but one ghost will give her no choice.  Kipp McGowan, a cop with the Memphis Police Department, uses his ghostly charms to gain her attention and forces her to expose herself to his partner. As she’s pulled into the five year old cold case of Hannah Reid she wants no part of, she finds herself in more than one precarious situation. But that’s the least of her worries―Tess begins to have a serious problem on her hands.  Kipp might be dead, but he’s drop-dead gorgeous and she’s beginning to forget that he’s a ghost. Murder and corruption has brought Tess and Kipp together.  But as her feelings for Kipp deepen, she suspects she just signed herself up for a one-way ticket to the nut house, and can only hope, straitjackets come in a size four.

Another giddy dance moment this week when I saw that HP Mallory released what her next Dulcie O'Neil book is going to look like. Apart from writing completely addicting stories, HP has a really good eye for designing catchy book covers  so don't be expecting any cheesy covers from her LOL. I love the sassy cartoon feel that she includes on all her book series and she shares that this curvy blonde is in fact Dulcie herself. Looks like a fun read right? A quick glance at her site tells us it's set to release towards the end of March 2011. *insert a quick jig* There's no blurb yet.

I saved the best for last in this post *grins* Look what I found on Goodreads the other day - the FIFTH cover to Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series, Drink Deep. For those who love the series with me, didn't you just DIE when you saw the author has two scheduled releases this year? One book was giddyworth.. this second one brought me close to combustion! Its set to be released November 2011 so here's the blurb...

Clouds are brewing over Cadogan House, and recently turned vampire Merit can't tell if this is the darkness before the dawn or the calm before the storm. With the city itself in turmoil over paranormals and the state threatening to pass a paranormal registration act, times haven't been this precarious for vampires since they came out of the closet. If only they could lay low for a bit, and let the mortals calm down. That's when the waters of Lake Michigan suddenly turn pitch black-and things really start getting ugly. Chicago's mayor insists it's nothing to worry about, but Merit knows only the darkest magic could have woven a spell powerful enough to change the very fabric of nature. She'll have to turn to friends old and new to find out who's behind this, and stop them before it's too late for vampires and humans alike
