Teaser Tuesday #10

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading and here's how you play..

Grab your current read and open to a random page. Share a couple of “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!) Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teaser.

*Click on the post title to find my teaser for the week*

Here's my teaser for this week ...

"And now?"
"Now... I have a very good idea what to do with such a look." She gave a tremulous laugh. "The trouble is, I don't know where to start"
- The Undying Heart by Zoe Archer / Half Past Dead

And this is because these were TOO good not to share and I couldn't help myself :D

" Gaspare's eye for detail captured the woman's garish caricature of beauty in one horrific glance. A frizzy yellow mop for hair, greasy eye makeup that had melted and settled into the lines aorund her eyes, flaccid breasts propped up on display by tight stays: The sight was indelibly seared upon his brain. "Lookin' for some company?" He stifled a shudder and tried not to breathe the fetid air gushing from the woman's red-painted lips.
"Thank you, my good woman, but no"

"When a Fey warrior meets the woman who completes him, his soul's truemate, he knows in an instant. And in that instant, whether she will have him or no, he binds himself to her, heart and soul with the words "Ver reisa ku'chae. Kem surah, shei'tani" which means "Your soul calls out. Mine answers beloved" And he spends the days of their courtship - the rest of his life, if necessary - proving himself worthy of the magnificent gift of her love"

I love that you can't limit it to just one teaser so we get to read several:) Fabulous teasers, I really want to read the CL Wilson series, I've heard such good things about it!

Some great teasers, particularly the one from 'Half Past Dead'

I went onto Amazon and read the full info, plus that of other books by the same authors.

Some pretty dramatic stuff, even though it is not my genre of choice.
