Waiting For Wednesday #10 (click title)

This is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Ok this week I'm giddy for two books. Here they are ...

I just finished reading the first book Shades Of Gray and I have to tell you it was PHENOMONAL. It's an urban fantasy with an edge and I loved it so much I gave it the highest rating I have - a HALLELUJAH chorus. I've been given an advance copy of this book but you know how it is, nothing beats that final copy in all it's perfection and glory :) I'm not sure if this is the final cover art so we'll see what happens. Here's the link as well to Shades Of Gray - A Jude Magdalyn Novel

Shades Of Desire
L.M. Pruitt / Urban Fantasy
Book 2 - Jude Magdalyn Novel
Release Date: November 2nd 2010

All I wanted was a little peace and quiet. Instead, I've got dead Covenant members and a steady stream of letters from the new guy in town. His beverage of choice? A 2002 Merlot, with a shot or two of powerful virgin blood. On top of that, I'm breaking in a new police liaison, failing at playing matchmaker, and fighting nausea like it's a full time job. Did I forget to mention that I've also got enough girls living at the Crossroads to start my own boarding school?
Peace and quiet? Out the window.  --Jude Magdalyn Henries

Ok this next book is one I was blessed to read an adVANCEd copy of and review. I didn't have the rating system I have no but from the powerful reaction I hade reading this, it's another HALLELUJAH chorus read (and this has NOTHING to do with the fact the author's my BFF and soul twin). I just found out that the book went just went into print and should be ready to buy in a few weeks. I can't wait to get the printed version of the book so I can love all over it. The cover art was originally different but after a hard drive crash a new cover was needed and the final result is SUPERB!!

Blood Of The White Witch
Lacey Weatherford / YA Paranormal Romance
Book 3 in Of Witches And Warlocks series
Release Date: the next few weeks ;)
My Review

When love came knocking on the door of novice witch, Portia Mullins, in the form of handsome bad boy, Vance Mangum, she had no idea how quickly the attraction between them would escalate. Now she finds her relationship with Vance taken to a whole new level, in a way she had never dreamed possible at this point and time of her life. Yet even as the personal connection between them explodes, the two quickly find themselves in a world of shifting balances. While searching for Vance’s missing mother, they realize they are suddenly unsure of who to trust, learning that sometimes things are not always as they appear. When Vance’s demon characteristics abruptly begin to resurface again without warning, the horrible truth comes out, crashing down upon them and shattering some of their most precious dreams. Once the deadly plan is uncovered, Portia and Vance find themselves hastily rushing against the hands of time in an attempt to stop an ancient ritual from being performed. But will they be successful before fate reaches out to twist them cruelly, possibly separating them and changing magic forever? Passion, loyalties, powers, and family ties, will all be tested when dangerous adventures abound in this third installment in the Of Witches and Warlocks series, Blood of the White Witch.

Here's my reviews for the first two book -
