In My Mailbox #6

In My Mailbox is a neat meme hosted by The Story Siren where we can celebrate some of the great books and treats we've received over the week. It doesn't matter if they were bought, sent through the mail or borrowed. It's a great opportunity to join in on the fun and share some of your "treasures" with everyone!! (click on the title)

This week found me in the WONDERFUL world of FREE books. Here I was last week honestly believing that by downloading the Kindle application, I'd sealed my fate as never having any money for as long as my phone worked. This week however, I found I can still "feed the need" for a variety of reading materials without going into mortgage. They may not be the latest, the greatest or from the most well known, but a story is a story and has just as much power to take me for a journey than the next.

Amazing Mailbox and seriously have to get me a KINDLE!

Still waiting for my order of Torment to arrive and I've been harassing my poor mailman since last Tuesday... hmmm think he will start avoiding my house completely next.

Enjoy the reads and great Mailbox girl.

Anytime you wish to pack up your Chihuahua and come visit sounds good to me, raiding my bookshelves may not work as I have an "attack kitty" who takes guarding them very seriously!

Belinda you cleaned up and then some! I love my Kindle App, have 90 free books and in looking at your list found some I do not have already.....

Thanks for stopping by my mailbox earlier, been lazy today and finally booted my computer up!

Wow, that is a LOT of books! I had no idea there were so many free ones floating around for Kindles. I don't have an e-reader (yet?)...still trying to figure out if they're worth it!

Outlander is totally awesome. I hope you really like it!!

Once A Witch and Outlander have been on my wish list for a while.

Hope you enjoy! :)

Anna said...

So many books!Have a great time reading them!

Candace said...

Wow! If I wasn't so overwhelmed with books already I'd probably work on getting some of those free books. I have the kindle app on my iphone and I put a book on it so I have something extra to read if I run out of reading material at work or when I'm out and about, but I'm definitely not fond of reading on that tiny screen. But free books, hey, however you can get them!
You got loads of great ones though!
And Outlander is on my favorites list! Love that series!

Book Sake said...

Oh my gosh. I think I would have a heartattack with that many books at once. I'm like you with the Kindle though, I think I have 400 free books downloaded right will take me forever to get to them all! Enjoy them!!!!

whoa! That's a lot and they all look so good!! I'm so curious about Haven. I'm pretty sure the cover's pic is from Deviant Art. Saw it ages ago and love it :) Enjoy your new reads!

I want to thank you for posting the Free Reads status of my two books, Fire Dance and The Mudlark, on Amazon. I was away at a conference for the weekend and unaware that Amazon would be posting them as Free Reads, when I happened to check my numbers on Amazon, and I actually thought someone had mistakenly posted dates in history instead of download numbers! The downloads are not only astronomical, but still rising, and have carried the two books into several "Best Seller" lst. And not only that, they've boosted the numbers for the two books that aren't free. One of those is now #24 best selling Regency on the Amazon Book list- not just the ebooks on Kindle!

Thanks again so much for getting the news out!
