"Waiting On" Wednesday #1 - No Mercy

Visiting one of my favorite book blogging site, Heaven, Hell and Purgatory I saw that she participated in a weekly blog event hosted by  where those that participate share what book they are eagerly anticipating. I like the idea of having a set blog entry where I could share one of the books I have on my ever growing "to buy" book list. The only problem is picking just one so after drawing a title out of a hat, this week's "I can't wait to read it" is No Mercy by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I LOVE her Dark Hunter series and this is the next book to add to the collection.

No Mercy by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Publisher: St. Martins Press
Pages: 352
Release Date: September 7, 2010
More info: Sherrilyn Kenyon's No Mercy Profile

Live fast, fight hard and if you have to die then take as many of your enemies with you as you can. That is the Amazon credo and it was one Samaia lived and died by. Now in contemporary New Orleans, the immortal Amazon warrior is about to learn that there's a worse evil coming to slaughter mankind than she's ever faced before.

Shapeshifter Dev Peltier has stood guard at the front of Sanctuary for almost two hundred years and in that time, he's seen it all. Or so he thought. Now their enemies have discovered a new source of power - one that makes a mockery of anything faced to date.

The war is on and Dev and Sam are guarding ground zero. But in order to win, they will have to break the most cardinal of all rules and pray it doesn't unravel the universe as we know it.

FYI - I forgot to add that this weekly event is hosted by Breaking The Spine

I just discovered Sherilyn Kenyon. I read Infinity-chronicles of Nick, her first YA novel and it was good. I understand the Dark Hunter series is good too. Love your site btw.

I LOVE the Dark Hunter series. It's almost a guaranteed there'll be a blog entry where I'll rant about how amazing the book is. I hope sometime you get a chance to read the series. The guys in there are the sexy bad boys I love reading :)

Thanks for coming by.

Oh if you liked Infinity, you'll absolutely LOVE the Dark Hunter series. It isn't a YA series but the stories are addicting and the guys are smoldering bad boys. I literally couldn't read the books fast enough.

Thanks for coming by. I'm glad you liked the site. I just did a complete update and I love it. Hope to see you again

I love the Dark Hunter series. Acheron about ripped my heart out when I read that one! I've always liked Dev from the snippets from other books, so I'm really excited for his story:)

Haven't read many of her books, but the one I have read that has stood out for me was Unleash the Night. Still, this one does look like it's worth checking out!

I've never read Sherilon Kenyon but I've heard good things about her. I'm always a little wary about romances since I'm rather prudish...for better or worse.
